En la apreciación de Karl Popper, no había duda: “en el campo de la ciencia, tenemos algo así como un criterio para juzgar la calidad de una teoría en comparación con su predecesora y, por lo tanto, un criterio de progreso” (Popper, 1978: 68). Qual escopo de validade o conhecimento científico pode ambicionar para si? Para onde caminha a ciência moderna?
