What do journalists laugh at? : autonomy and heteronomy in contemporary Brazilian journalism
By means of an ethnographic event in a historically situated case study (the process of socialization of newcomers in contemporary São Paulo daily business journalism), it is intended to elaborate reflections on the potentialities and limitations of Bourdieusian concepts of autonomy and heteronomy.
