| Summary: | The article synthesizes a look / thought about the artistic work of Silvio Nunes Pinto, a rural worker who, in the exercise of his daily activities and to meet the demands of his concrete and psychic realities, produced objects rich in details and finishes, although restricted to the functions intended for them. His work is governed by the imaginary and creative demand that manufactures and shapes the indistinct matter of the domestic and distinct from the art system. In order to think about his poetics of silence, I referred to the poem "A Dance of Data Will Never Abolish Chance" by Mallarmé (2014) in an associative way, and interdisciplinarity of authors such as Jacques Lacan (1982, 1985, 1992); Gilbert Durand (1989); Homi Bhabha (2007), among others. |
