Description
Summary:This article presents analyzes of a set of photographs belonging to the work of Cássio Vasconcellos. The study was developed through the phenomenological approach and documentary analysis, in addition to interviews with the artist. This Brazilian artist, born in São Paulo and recognized nationally and internationally, performs in his work interfaces with Visual Arts properties that go beyond the language initially chosen by him. They are perceptive and procedural possibilities that penetrate the pictorial and sculptural field. Thus, through the apparitions of works, there is a confluence of active languages of extended experiences. The study also turns to the contemporary context of the technical and expressive procedures of the artistic making using the research that reveals handcrafted and technological manipulations capable of bringing together: theory, technical mastery and aesthetic sensibility.
