Description
Summary:Apron, which stands for aircraft parking area, is an art installation which visual elements containing indexes of the technical language of a certain category of specialists (civil aviation) are articulated under the point of view of the general person. It starts from the notion that certain passages of reality, apparently stable, can unpredictably rise up as an unknown. The theoretical reflection on this perception process was supported by the idea of merveilleux postulated by the members of the surrealist movement. The presentation as an art installation was associated with the practices of the surrealist’s photomontage.
