Working the Song, Bringing the Voice to Light: : Perspectives for the teaching of brazilian popular singing

This article discusses the state-of-the-art of Brazilian singing vocal pedagogy and its main technical, stylistic and pedagogical challenges. It also points out some possible strategies to enhance the teaching ofcreativity and artistic expressivity.
