Summary:The book The romantic song in Brazil in the “years of lead”: soundscapes and imagery in media culture (2018) is the result of a multidisciplinary research by the Center for Studies in Music and Media (MusiMid)idealized by the researcher Heloísa de Araújo Duarte Valente. This research group has been active in the areas of communication and music since 2003, and has been promoting scientific meetings and journeys, in addition to major publications that condense the results of research carried out by the group and humanities collaborators who are invited to aggregate analyzes and interpretations on the relationship between music and media culture, expanding the range of approaches to seek to understand more closely the complexity of the subject in question.
