Description
Summary:The historical process lived by Kaiowá,and Guarani added to their life in reservation areas, that have long faced problems with the lack of land and with the demographic increase are part of the elements that corroborated for the appearance of the indigenous retakings of lands in the south of Mato Grosso do Sul.In the late 1980s and early 1990s Guarani and Kaiowá indigenous groups began to occupy areas recognized by these peoples as lands of traditional occupation, as well as to set up campgrounds, located on the banks of highways, in order to claim new demarcations. In this paper, I discuss how reservations are not only spaces that limit the processes of spatial mobility - by imposing boundaries and a territoriality standard - but also, as a propeller of a movement that enables the organization of collectives, political demands and the emergence of new ways of life, as in the areas of recovery.Through this look, the objective of this article is to think about the areas of retakings of lands, as well as a possibility of returning to traditional land, as a strengthening of the Kaiowá and Guarani mobilities that, together with the reserves and the urban centers, create a network where objects , people and knowledge circulate and connect each other.
