Sumario:The knowledge of specific mass of drilling fluids are of great importance in defining the characteristics of them during drilling wells. In the present work, the specific mass of distilled water was carried out in a PVT (Pressure-Volume-Temperature) cell using the Constant Composition Expansion procedure under high pressure and high temperature. Results showed a good agreement with literature valures.
