| Summary: | This work explores the subject of the corporeal transformation and creativity in art, focused on the relationship of the body with the audiovisual technology. To study these relationships, I researched the shamanic ritual called maraká, performed by the indigenous people Asuriní of Xingu, the operational elements of its performance and the relationships that the shaman and wanapy - ritual papers of maraká - develop with the preparation of the space and the handling of the plastic components as agents of their corporeal transformation. I accompanied the process of preparing the ritual space of maraká, and observed the performance of rites. This investigation, in its turn, supplied resources to observe a specific relationship that the bodies develop with the contemporary technologies: these elements are used to transform perceptions. Building this subject from this point of view, I created an interactive installation using digital technological resources, whose contents are reflective of experience obtained in the field. |
