| Summary: | This article presents a historiographic view of the painting collection of the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon (FBAUL) and the various pictorial awards given by the Lisbon Academy of Fine Arts (ABAL) to their students at the end of the 19th and beginning of the 20th century. The purpose of this investigation is to highlight the rules of the competition for the various prizes found on the FBAUL property, namely: Prémio Anunciação, Prémio Lupi and Prémio Ferreira Chaves. Due to the preliminary stage of this study, we going to indicate only the list of participants and the name of the winning artist, as well as the year and the execution of the contest. To conclude, this research will make it possible to reconstruct and identify the various award-winning works existed at FBAUL, until 1930. |
