Summary:Camilo José Cela was one of the most important Spanish writers of the last century, having received the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1989, among others, and had a very fruitful relationship with photography since the late 1940s. With many paradigmatic books published among which many provide an atmosphere of imagery reality, however, built by fiction, thus being a pioneer in the exploration of a complementary relationship between image-text in its creative process. He has always maintained an intense literary production and among others we can mention the creation of Editorial Alfaguara and the magazine Papeles de Son Armadans. The article analyzes his works at the intersection of photography and literature.
