Description
Summary:The global health The neglect and forgetfulness with the indigenous people are old, it didn't start with Covid-19". Notes on the effects, strategies and modes of indigenous resistance in the Middle Solimões e Afluentes, AM.crisis brought about by the Covid-19 pandemic made Brazil one of the epicenters of infections and the setting for a tragic experience of public health management, and, more specifically in the Amazon, exposed the historical ghost of the state's dehumanization logic to the peoples indigenous peoples. In this text, we take as a starting point a set of reports issued by leaders and representatives of indigenous movements in the Middle Rio Solimões that concern us with government techniques related to narratives and omission practices that reinforce the old inequality and production regime conditions of health, environmental, social and economic vulnerability of these subjects. Our objective is to show, through the analysis of these reports, how these subjects resist and react to state negationism, creating autonomous strategies for care and for the transmission containment.
