| Summary: | Family farming represents the majority of rural properties in Brazil, and due to its intrinsic characteristics, the most suitable production system for these is the Agroecological Production System (SPA). However, this category of farmers and this type of production system do not have access to technologies that make it possible to increase work efficiency. When they have access, these technologies are not suitable and adapted to the specifics of social, environmental, and economic conditions. In this context, an excellent bias to develop suitable technologies appropriated by family farmers in the social Technologies. This work aims to present several examples of social technologies developed, focusing on agroecological family farming. The methods adopted and the social actors involved in the development of machines and renewable energy systems are described. Finally, a program of studies on pressing themes and requested by agroecological family farmers is presented. These themes are defined and described according to the interpellation between current development and family farming interface. |
