Description
Summary:Learning Management Systems (LMS) are computational systems that offer a wide variety of resources and tools to support teaching. Moodle is the most used LMS worldwide. The wide spread use of LMS and Moodle, calls for special attention regarding their interfaces. Previous works have identified challenges experienced by users in interacting with Moodle ́s interface and help systemThis article presents the process of building a help system for the Moodle platform used at UFMG. The process described is based on a new methodology for building online help systems, grounded on Semiotic Engineering (SemEng), a Human-Computer Interactiontheory.
