Summary:The present work has an experience of political activism, through the creative production of memes, as a way to confront the fake news. The students of the Pedagogy course of the Higher Institute of Education of Rio de Janeiro produce memes to their social networks, as a political-educational campaign. The appropriation of the different genres, as well as the immersion in the network digital is an urgent and important task. The association of creativity, authorship and activism, surpass the culture mere consumption, to promote the visibility of their own authority.
