description This paper describes a case study related to the implementation of theflipped classroommethod in the Portuguese language subject of a high school state school in the outskirts of the city of São Paulo, with students' personal cell phone as the main device. The activities proposed with the support of the Google Form platform allowed for greater student autonomy and engagement, indicating impacts on the indicators of the external evaluations carried out by the State Department of Education of the State of São Paulo. The relationships between the use of Digital Information and Communication Technologies (DICT) and the active methodologies are evaluated in order to re -signify the learning process having the student in its centrality.
