| Summary: | The teaching and learning process of the fundamentals of programming has proved to be complex for students and teachers. Thus, it is essential to develop research to improve it. Nowadays, it is clear that learning to program is a great challenge for all students, in different areas of knowledge. Therefore, this research seeks to show how computational thinking combined with a software tool, can assist in the teaching and learning process of 5th grade students in activities involving mathematical reasoning and the use of computational tools. In this sense, methods that facilitate learning in elementary education can be used efficiently. The present work proposes three pedagogical experiences that will be listed below: In the first example, using the QUIZIZZ tool. In the second, using the Scratch tool, a game was created, covering logical mathematical concepts, among other concepts. In the end, third example, assembly blocks, and robotics, a small robotic artifact was created. |
