Summary:This work, carried out in the Akroá-Gamella territory in the state of Maranhão, seeks to address the enchanted territory that houses a multiplicity of enchanted beings, who are ancestors of the indigenous peoples. These sacred beings live in places called enchantments and interact and relate to the territory. They also have ways to connect with indigenous people. The focus of the article is to describe the relationship between indigenous peoples, enchanted beings and territory, seeking to observe the territory as a place that provides a connection with all beings that inhabit it.
