| description | This article is the result of a bibliographical review of the ethnological literature produced in the Northeast of Brazil, which objective is to verify the presence of the oneiric experience and its importance for the group of original peoples that inhabit the referred area. The ethnographic data on the subject collected so far cover different relational contexts and different thematic areas, such as shamanism and the transmission of knowledge, among others. The argument developed is that the indigenous people of the Northeast of Brazil are in a permanently unstable position vis-à-vis the various extra-human beings with whom they share the cosmos and space-time of dreams, notably the enchanted ones, an instability tentatively circumvented with contradons and behavioral reorientations. |

Este artículo es el resultado de una revisión bibliográfica de la literatura etnológica producida en el Nordeste, cuyo objetivo es verificar la presencia de la experiencia onírica y su importancia para el grupo de pueblos originarios que habitan esa zona. Los datos etnográficos recogidos hasta el momento sobre el tema abarcan diferentes contextos relacionales y diferentes áreas temáticas, como el chamanismo y la transmisión del saber, entre otros. El argumento desarrollado es que los indígenas del Nordeste se encuentran en una posición permanentemente inestable frente a los diversos seres extrahumanos con los que comparten el cosmos y el espacio-tiempo de los sueños, en particular los encantados, inestabilidad tentativamente sorteada con contraataques, regalos y reorientaciones conductuales. Este artigo é fruto de uma revisão bibliográfica da literatura etnológica produzida no Nordeste cujo objetivo é verificar a presença da experiência onírica e a sua importância para o conjunto dos povos originários que habitam a referida área. Os dados etnográficos sobre o tema até agora recolhidos recobrem diversos contextos relacionais e distintos âmbitos temáticos, tais como xamanismo e transmissão de conhecimentos, entre outros. O argumento desenvolvido é que os indígenas do Nordeste estão em posição permanentemente instável frente aos diversos seres extra-humanos com quem compartilham o cosmos e o espaço-tempo dos sonhos, notadamente os encantados, instabilidade tentativamente contornada com contradons e reorientações de conduta.
