Description
Summary:This article aims to verify how Mário Pedrosa observed Italians who immigrated to Brazil in the first half of the 20th century, event that could be seen as a continuation of the migratory dynamics between the two countries, but reconfigured in the mentioned period. It will be observed how Bardi, Armando Balloni, De Fiori, Di Prete, Paolo Rissone, Caetano Fraccaroli and Tiziana Bonazzola are seen in Pedrosa's art criticism, which confirms the acceptance of these Italians who became brasiliani, both because of their stay in the country that welcomed them, but above all because of the way they were inserted in its artistic system.
