Description
Summary:The paper was distributed with the Kaiowá and Guarani peoples as part of a learning process and a joint journey. In this interweaving of collective reflections, the objective of the paper was to understand the relationships between these peoples and the forest as a dimension of memory, cosmopolitics and political ecology. And on the other hand, to reflect on the social and environmental conflicts and the spheres of resistance against agribusiness. The methodology was based on a qualitative approach, articulating the narrative review focused on Kaiowa and Guarani academic production, with semi-structuredinterviews with companions from different tekoha (ancestral territories/lit. where one is). Biocultural memory and spirituality are essential elements for the self-defense of territories and for the restoration of the Ka’aguy rusu, in addition to being a source of autonomy and the anti-colonial struggle.
