Sumario:Understanding the human experience with the Covid-19 pandemic, which caused upheavals in the work and social life of all people is a necessary exercise so that the transition to a post-pandemic period occurs in a safe way, including treating if from another reality in which other ways of acting resulting from accumulated learning will be necessary. This article is the result of a retrospective, analytical examination of the experience of academic and administrative management at the Faculty of Education at USP in the first 18 months of the pandemic. It seeks to identify the procedures adopted to keep the institution functioning, ensuring the achievement of its objectives, without breaching the biosafety protocols, essential to the preservation of lives and balance in the relationships established between the people involved.
