Description
Summary:By revealing a renewed attention to political and social issues, contemporary artistic practices have transformed the nature of art. This social turn has triggered the displacement of the artist from the place traditionally reserved for him in society, a place that kept him tied to the margins of the social fabric, thus forcing him to face the process of reinventing himself in light of these changes in the relationships between art and society. In this article we seek to reflect on this artist's wanderings around the world, as well as on his articulations, full of frictions, with the complexities and instances of the art system, especially with the art museum.
