| Summary: | Objective: the present study aims to present Hipatia as a solution to integrate archival systems in the preservation process. Methods: How to study with exploratory aspects, makes use of the so-called 5W2H technique to define a scenario. Results: Hipatia, free software developed by Ibict , integrates archival document processing systems with proprietary repositories, following the guidelines of the OAIS model, maintaining a chain of custody. Conclusion: Hipátia presents itself as a viable solution for bodies and institutions that use Archivematica as RDC-Arq, integrating it to the system for producing and processing digital documents. |
