Summary:Throughout the course of the national socio-historical and academic development, Brazilian intellectuals produced several works of interpretation of Brazil that, due to the routine of erasures and invisibilizations provided and naturalized by patriarchal engineering, were marginalized in the construction of the canons of Social Thought. This Dossier proposes, therefore, to discuss some of these modalities that did not achieve consecration in the dispute of the narrative explaining the nation of their times, pondering about their themes and clippings, their forms and strategies, their singularities, barriers and potentialities.
