| Summary: | The objective of this dossier is to take the pulse of contemporary debates on indigenous cinema. Although there are more articles about this production in Brazil, we also included texts from other geographies, predominantly from Latin America, or Abya Yala, in order to catalyze comparisons, contrasts and dialogues between diverse experiences. The dossier demonstrates that indigenous cinema and reflections on it are heterogeneous, thus accounting for the multiple languages, logics, and disciplinary perspectives from which this corpus is being analyzed, and which are challenged by the diverse practices and processes that constitute this production. |
