Description
Summary:Introduction. Risk management presents itself as a contingency instrument that can be applied in different situations of threats and vulnerability. Digital preservation is not far from this reality, due to technological obsolescence, and human, environmental, geographic, or pandemic factors. These can cause irreversible damage to our information collection if we are not prepared to act. Therefore, this research objective is to establish the Risk Management and Digital Preservation state-of-the-art, through the researched subject identification, theoretical-conceptual basis, methodologies and tools, publication type, most cited authors, results, and the studies conclusions. The methods consist of the documentary analysis of seven articles, through a bibliographic survey in databases and search engines of the Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations (BDTD), Database on Information Science (Brapci), Capes Periodicals Portal, and Google Scholar. Results:, Three master's dissertations, one article, one book chapter and three proceedings were identified. The themes address the types of threats that can affect digital collections, the accident scenario for digital preservation, and the methods of risk analysis for digital preservation. Conclusion: reveal that further research on the subject is necessary, considering that it can contribute to prevent risk states in the preservation of the country's informational memory.
