Summary:Based on her participation in a film made by a Qom family from Resistencia (Argentine Chaco), the author proposes ap-proaching indigenous cinema as a process of constant reinvention enabling the emergence of new forms of perception, self-knowl-edge, resistance and self-esteem, and that reveals political and affective worlds. The article investigates the mutual affectations of all the participants and shows the flexibility of the roles constructed from the links that are established. The analysis is structured in three stages: filming, editing and distribution, and highlights the affective construction of the film when resorting to humor and melancholy. Finally, the article scrutinizes the film›s visibility in the political and social networks where it is screened and the uniqueness with which it is valued by the different people who produced it.
