The study aims to contribute to potentiate and intend the teaching of/about indigenous cultures present in the State of Mato Grosso do Sul, as markers of struggles, resistance and politics. It was concluded that to debate, based on the achievements of the various ethnic groups, is to break with the tendency to fix them in the past; the re-signified art enables the dialogue between indigenous and non-indigenous people and points to intercultural paths. |

En el artículo se argumenta sobre las culturas indígenas que, en muchos casos, son expuestas de forma estereotipada, dentro de una visión colonialista, en la disciplina del Arte. A partir de los resultados de una investigación realizada en Campo Grande/MS, con base en la determinación de la Ley 11.645/2008 y con apoyo teórico en los Estudios Culturales y en el Grupo Modernidad/Colonialidad, se discuten las culturas indígenas desde la perspectiva de la diferencia, en la que son posibles otros saberes. El estudio pretende contribuir a potenciar e intencionar la enseñanza de/sobre las culturas indígenas presentes en el Estado de Mato Grosso do Sul, como marcadores de luchas, resistencias y políticas. Se llegó a la conclusión de que debatir a partir de los logros de las distintas etnias es romper con la tendencia a fijarlas en el pasado; el arte resignificado permite el diálogo entre indígenas y no indígenas y señala caminos interculturales. No artigo, argumenta-se sobre culturas indígenas, as quais, em muitos casos, são expostas de maneira estereotipada, dentro de uma visão colonialista, na Disciplina de Arte. Discutem-se, a partir de resultados de uma pesquisa realizada em Campo Grande/MS, com base na determinação da Lei 11.645/2008 e com suporte teórico nos Estudos Culturais e no Grupo Modernidade/Colonialidade, as culturas indígenas na perspectiva da diferença, em que outros saberes são possíveis. O estudo objetiva contribuir para potencializar e tencionar o ensino de/sobre culturas indígenas presentes no Estado de Mato Grosso do Sul, como marcadores de lutas, resistências e política. Concluiu-se que debater, a partir das conquistas das diversas etnias, é romper com a tendência de fixá-las no passado; a arte ressignificada possibilita o diálogo entre indígenas e não indígenas e aponta para caminhos interculturais.
