| Summary: | This paper aims at analyzing rural female workers’ trajectories. Their life stories’ study shows that whether they work in São Paulo state’s growing of coffee, oranges, sugar canes, onions, peanuts, tomatoes and mangos, in Jequiti - nhonha Valley’s lowlands or in the Maranhão babaçu forest, their work trajectories are very similar. From their youngest age, they are forced into domestic work which includes taking care of the younger siblings. They also have to help their parents with various activities in the field. The oral history method was used to analyze the testimonies. |
