| Summary: | We present two cases of demarcation of Indigenous Lands overlapped with Extractive Reserves, pointing the uncoordinated actions from Brazilian institutions through the processes of demarcation and their impacts over relationships between indigenous and non-indigenous people. The first case is the demarcation of the Arara Indigenous Land, overlapped with the Upper Juruá Extractive Reserve (AC). The second case is the demarcation of the Escrivão Indigenous Land, overlapped with the Tapajós-Arapiuns Extractive Reserve (PA). We also report some recent actions from ICMBio and FUNAI aiming dialogue and coordinated actions in such cases.
