Description
Summary:This article is a result from a doctoral research among farmers in southern Minas Gerais, it intends to present the new arrangements, alliances and conflicts that arise from the encounter between two types of social actors within the associations of organic producers. To develop this analysis, here we call these actors as "local new farmers" and "outsiders new farmers", which the first ones are family farmers who produce for the market from organic production techniques and the latter are the ones who came from urban centers, seeking an harmonious coexistence with natural world, supposedly free from pollution, noise and stress of big cities.
