Summary:This text analyzes the peculiarities and specificities of Amazon and West Bengal. These regions have rich biosociodiversity and are strategic for the economic and environmental development of Brazil and India. In this sense, the increase in exchange between them is fundamental for the establishment of trade and cultural flows that are alternative to those of the central countries, based on the construction of a dialogue between the South and the South. Through field research, documentary and bibliographical study, carried out in the states of Amazonas, Pará and West Bengal, the objective of this article is to contribute with new knowledge to support this dialogue.
