Summary:The expropriation process of the Guarani and Kaiowá’s territories in Mato Grosso do Sul began in the colonial period and was intensified by the Brazilian State. Since the 1980s, the retakings of lands, one the strategies of these people to recover their territories, has tried to reverse this process. For many years, the return of the indigenous people to their territories has faced with the agribusiness interests. Currently, it can be observed the urban and the real estate market growth as a new boundaries on indigenous areas reclaiming. This work is about the growth of the of city of Dourados and the real estate speculation in retakings areas, trying to think how the boundaries category can contribute to this kind of analysis, considering that the city to the Guarani and Kaiowá also is a space of mobility and a place of political strategies and access to resources.
