Description
Summary:The present work aims at presenting a brief discussion of hits land prices in Brazil in recent years. The initial hypothesis is that high commodity prices affect land prices. For this purpose, we used data from FGVdados to land prices and the International Monetary Fund for the data price commodiites. Os results show a strong correlation between international prices and land prices in Brazil, both have a bullish behavior. The factors for both, may be assigned by higher global demand for natural resources-intensive products, which has the land for agriculture or pasture, part of its production process.
