Summary:This article proposes an approach to the idea of ​​landscape from the analysis of the degradation trajectory of the streams that cross the city of Manaus and the social groups that live in its surroundings. This is because both streams and residents of their surroundings form, together, a landscape that transmits a message in advance: danger. The aim is to problematize this perception associated with the image of this type of place in Manaus, understanding that it corresponds to a social construction based on information triggered by memory and the sensitive that makes us establish our judgments in the face of the (un)known in advance.
