Description
Summary:In this text, we analyze the consequences of the implantation of the rural environmental registry (CAR) through the theories of Alfred Gell and Bruno Latour, offering an alternative view to the “deviation of function” from the public registry based on the idea of agency of objects. Initially, the theories of the authors mentioned are discussed, then we present the objectives for which the CAR was designed. We conclude with the recognition of its autonomy expressed in an expanded concept of land grabbing.
