| Summary: | This paper seeks to comprehend the relation between Mário de Andrade and the Verde group of Cataguases, understanding the modernism as a cultural movement. It is identified in the correspondence between them one form of modernist social learning directed at those youth, produced by Mário de Andrade from an ideal of modernist self. Taking the firsts letters from that correspondence, this paper looks forward to observe how this youth interacts with that form and the values that circulated in that exchange. Considering the letter as an erratic self-writing, the hypothesis is that by those letters it can be observed a routinization of modernism, which is being made by a social learning founded on an open and uncompleted modernist self. |
