| Summary: | In the bibliography surrounding caipira culture it is very common to affirm the kinship between the musical forms of cururu, cateretê, catira and indigenous music. With this relationship in mind, in this paper we establish some parallels between caipira culture and indigenous culture, specifically the Guarani Mbya culture. The geographical, economic, cultural and specifically, the relationship between the use of the cordofone instrument, the Mbaraka, and the caipira guitar will allow us to glimpse a very rich and founding terrain of our culture that is still vibrant and alive. |
