Resumo:This article focuses on the painting called Three Women (1940) by the German artist, naturalized Italian, Massimo Campigli (1895-1971), which belongs to the collection of the Museum of Contemporary Art of the University of São Paulo (MAC USP). Visual aspects of the artwork will be discussed in addition to the results obtained by non-invasive analysis, with spectroscopic techniques of X-ray fluorescence by energy dispersion (ED-XRF), Raman and imaging. All analyzes were carried out with portable equipment, from the Laboratory of Archaeometry and Applied Sciences to Cultural Heritage (LACAPC) of the Institute of Physics of the University of São Paulo, in the museum.
