The corpus of this study is 1.154.800, composed of individuals participating in the writing of Enem, in the period between 2009 and 2018, who obtained a score of zero or a thousand in their text. The cut was made due to the great disparity of essays with maximum and minimum grade. Through the analysis of the variable: gender, the objective was to identify the limits and possibilities of Bourdieusian theory to understand this phenomenon. It was verified that the theory presents some fragility regarding the use of this variable. Therefore, other ways were pointed out to perform such analysis regarding the results obtained in the writing of Enem. |

Hay muchos factores internos y externos a la escuela que pueden ser asociados a la desigualdad de rendimiento escolar. La teoría de Pierre Bourdieu y Jean-Claude Passeron se revela como un importante recurso para denunciar y combatir estas desigualdades. Con el objetivo de verificar la desigualdad relacionada al desempeño escrito, fueron seleccionados los datos publicados por Inep, en lo que se refiere al perfil de los participantes del Exame Nacional do Ensino Médio, bien como sus resultados en redacción. El corpus de este estudio es de 1.154.800, compuesto por individuos que realizaron la redacción del Enem, en el periodo entre 2009 y 2018, que obtuvieron nota cero o nota mil en su texto. El recorte de los resultados fue realizado debido a la grande disparidad de redacciones con nota máxima y mínima. Por medio de análisis de la variable: sexo/género, tuvo como objetivo identificar los límites y las posibilidades de la teoría bourdieusiana para comprender ese fenómeno. Se verificó que la teoría presenta cierta fragilidad en lo que se refiere al uso de esa variable, a vista de eso, fueron apuntados otros caminos para realizar tal análisis cuanto a los resultados obtenidos en la redacción del Enem. Há uma série de fatores internos e externos à escola que podem ser associados à desigualdade de rendimento escolar. A teoria de Pierre Bourdieu e Jean-Claude Passeron revela-se como um importante recurso para denunciar e combater tais desigualdades. Diante disso, a fim de verificar a desigualdade relacionada ao desempenho escrito, foram selecionados os dados disponibilizados pelo Inep, no que diz respeito ao perfil dos participantes do Exame Nacional do Ensino Médio, bem como seus resultados na redação. O corpus deste estudo é de 1.154.800, composto por indivíduos que realizaram a redação do Enem, no período entre 2009 e 2018, que obtiveram nota zero ou nota mil em seu texto. O recorte dos resultados foi realizado devido à grande disparidade de redações com nota máxima e mínima. Por meio da análise da variável: sexo/ gênero, objetivou-se identificar os limites e as possibilidades da teoria bourdieusiana para compreender esse fenômeno. Verificou-se que a teoria apresenta certa fragilidade no que diz respeito ao uso dessa variável, tendo isso em vista, foram apontados outros caminhos para realizar tal análise quanto aos resultados obtidos na redação do Enem.
