Through the information gathered, it was intended to evaluate the effectiveness of official communication strategies and understand the forms of appropriation of historical traces by the research participants. |

El presente artículo tuvo como objetivo analizar el Circuito Histórico y Arqueológico del Patrimonio Africano, localizado en la zona portuaria de Río de Janeiro, y detallar el grado de conocimiento entre los residentes de la ciudad. A partir de un estudio teórico de las cuestiones relacionadas con la memoria, la representación racial y la modelización interpretativa en el turismo, fue posible desarrollar una investigación exploratorio-descriptiva mediante el uso de un cuestionario en línea que contiene 6 preguntas para la producción de datos. Su aplicación fue entre los días 28 y 30 de noviembre de 2022, con la participación de 80 residentes de la ciudad de Río de Janeiro, contactados por aplicación de mensajes. A través de la información recogida, se pretendía evaluar la eficacia de las estrategias de comunicación oficial y comprender las formas de apropiación de las huellas históricas por parte de los participantes en la investigación. Le présent article visait à analyser le Circuit historique et archéologique du patrimoine africain, situé dans la zone portuaire de la ville de Rio de Janeiro, et à détailler le degré de connaissance des habitants de la ville. À partir d'une étude théorique des questions liées à la mémoire, à la représentation raciale et à la modélisation interprétative dans le tourisme, il a été possible de développer une recherche exploratoire-descriptive en utilisant un questionnaire en ligne contenant 6 questions pour la production de données. Son application entre le 28 et le 30 novembre 2022 a compté avec la participation de 80 résidents de la ville de Rio de Janeiro, contactés par application de messages. À travers les informations recueillies, il était prévu d'évaluer l'efficacité des stratégies de communication officielle et de comprendre les formes d'appropriation des traces historiques par les participants à la recherche. O presente artigo objetivou analisar o Circuito Histórico e Arqueológico da Herança Africana, localizado na região portuária do Rio de Janeiro, e detalhar o grau de conhecimento entre os habitantes da cidade. A partir de um aprofundamento teórico sobre questões relativas à memória, representação racial e modelagens interpretativas no turismo, foi possível desenvolver uma pesquisa de caráter exploratória‑descritiva ao utilizar questionário online contendo 6 questões para a geração dos dados. Sua aplicação entre os dias 28 a 30 de novembro de 2022 contou com a participação de 80 moradores da cidade do Rio de Janeiro, contactados por aplicativo de mensagem. Por meio das informações levantadas, pretendeu-se avaliar a efetividade das estratégias de comunicação oficial e compreender as formas de apropriação dos vestígios históricos por parte dos participantes da pesquisa.
