| Summary: | The purpose of this article is to go through, based on field research observations, the documentation on the non-demarcation of part of the Indigenous Lands of the upper Purus, referring directly to the Jamamadi, but also to the Apurinã. These papers refer to different institutions, such as FUNAI, the local Prefecture, the Public Prosecutor's Office and the Federal Executive. By going through thesedynamics over decades, the historical effect allows us to analyse and reflect on the dimensions ofnon-indigenous actions in the region. |
