| Summary: | This study is an exploratory case analysis that used a qualitative approach to examine the correlation between the use of educational resources in virtual learning environments for higher education and the dropout rates. The study is necessary because the third most common cause of dropout in the educational system is related to the platform itself. The use of synchronous and asynchronous educational technologies can affect dropout rates. The findings indicate that courses with more resources had higher dropout rates, while those with fewer resources had lower rates. Consequently, the research results are critically analyzed, and the study's implications and contributions are highlighted. |
