| Summary: | This paper analyzes notes from fieldwork conducted between Brazil and French Guiana in light of the literature on the theme of mobility in contemporary borders. This is an ongoing research that aims to understand the production of this migration process based on prospecting experiences with Brazilian fishermen, from cities in Pará (PA) and Amapá (AP), who are fishing professionals in French Guiana (legally or illegally). The contents analyzed here reveal the precarious and conflictive conditions of life for these border fishermen, who inhabit a tensioned territory, in part, due to the multiple migrations to the region. |
