Summary:Cujubim Beira Rio is the name given to a territorial portion located on the banks of the Branco River, in the region known locally as the Cujubim hole, in the municipality of Caracaraí, RR. This article seeks to present the socio-environmental relations established in the trajectory of occupation of Cujubim Beira Rio. Therefore, we try to describe uses and perceptions of the territory in question, observing how these factors contribute to the realization of a particular territoriality on which the argument of the right to land by the local population is based.
