Description
Summary:The aim of this paper is to analyze the school experience from a comparative perspective between Argentina, Chile, and Colombia. Specifically, we analyze the memories about school objects and practices -both their own experiences and those of their families- reconstructed by 43 university students from these three countries, in the framework of a graduate seminar given jointly during 2021. This research falls within the theoretical perspective of the cultural history of education. The methodological approach of the research is narrative, in that the information construction strategy was based on the written accounts of the participants' schooling experiences.
