| Summary: | Nowadays, museum exhibitions have the purpose of making knowledge accessible to everyone, including visually impaired people, who are generally disadvantaged by exclusively visual exhibition methods. Therefore, this work carried out an analysis of accessibility for people with visual impairments and low vision in the “Baleia à vista” exhibition, at the Jacques Huber Aquarium (AJH), based on the concepts of architectural and communicational accessibility dimensions by Romeu Sassaki. For this, the method applied was the observation of the space from the accessibility norms; and the expographic narrative was based on an interview with the curator and with the PCDV and BV. Finally, it is concluded that accessibility resources are tools that enhance the experience at the exhibition, especially when they are humanized. |
