| Summary: | The objective of this work was to reflect on the contribution of school libraries to an integral human formation of students at Federal Institutes of Education, considering a triad research, culture and work as fundamental elements. For this, a bibliographical review was carried out on integral formation in the context of Professional and Technological Education, school libraries and memories. In this way, it was possible to discuss whether and how the organization and dissemination of school memories can contribute to form more complete students, emancipated and transforming themselves and the reality to which they belong, and the potential of the school library to create places for these memories that they are non-formal educational spaces to be used for scientific and cultural activities through teaching, research and extension projects. |
